Bill Bennett, President: Benchmark was conceived by founder Bill Bennett, who credits his grandmother, Gertrude McCarty, as the catalyst and spiritual force behind Benchmark ELDER CARE. Gertrude, who was born January 4, 1898, and died March 25, 2006, lived to be 108 years old. Read more...

Karen Kersh, LNFA, Operations Administrator: Karen's career of over 20 years has been concentrated in long-term care and assisted living communities. She is both a licensed nursing home administrator and a certified assisted living facility administrator. Karen excels in customer service, networking and quality service. She is an Eden Alternative Associate and participated in a statewide initiative on person-centered care. She has dedicated her career to caring for and serving others.
Marisa B. Minor, LCSW: Marisa is a licensed clinical social worker with specialization in healthcare. She is experienced in working with patients ranging from neonatal infants to the elderly, as well as their families. Her expertise includes individual and group therapies, family and crisis interventions, grief counseling and resource referrals. Marisa is skilled in conducting psychosocial assessments, program planning and development with both children and adults.
